U.S. CONSULATE FLORENCE VOLUNTEER NETWORK

The U.S. Consulate General in Florence is proud to announce its new web site dedicated to advocating volunteer initiatives within the local community. The Consulate General’s vision is to create a reference point for available volunteer opportunities which will help to create a network of volunteering local citizens, whether long term residents, or only visiting Florence for a short time. We foresee this initiative as bringing together individuals who wish to volunteer their time with organizations that need volunteers.

For those keen to get involved check out our calendar of events for upcoming opportunities for volunteerism and refer to the list of organizations. If your organization is listed please remember to email us frequently so that we can keep our calendar of events current. If you represent an organization that needs volunteers and would be interested in becoming involved, please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.

CONSOLATO USA DI FIRENZE: RETI DI VOLONTARIATO

Il Consolato Generale Americano di Firenze ha il piacere di annunciare il lancio del nuovo sito internet dedicato a promuovere le iniziative di volontariato nella nostra comunità. L’iniziativa è rivolta sia ai residenti che ai visitatori di Firenze e d’intorni, e si pone l’obbiettivo di creare un punto di riferimento per dare maggiori informazioni sulle opportunità di volontariato nonché facilitare la comunicazione fra le organizzazioni ed i volontari.

Chi è interessato a vari tipi di volontariato può consultare il calendario con le numerose opportunità e la lista delle organizazzioni. Se fate parte di un’organizzazione in cerca di nuovi volontari non esitate a contattarci. Per aggiornare il calendario degli eventi riguardanti le organizzazioni elencate vi ricordiamo di inviarci un’email ogni qual volta lo riterrete necessario.

Insieme potremo costruire una comunità sempre più forte ed integrata grazie alla partecipazione civica ed alle opportunità per fare volontariato.
